2023 Reading Challenge for Kids!

Have a disgruntled kiddo on your hands? Is nothing they read good? Are they (or you) struggling to find something they like? Take the pressure off! Pressuring young readers is hands down one of the quickest ways to get your young reader to give up all together. Click the link above, or grab one from your preferred location and get started today!

The Children’s Specialists at Ripley and Ravenswood have decided to give the kiddos in our communities a reading challenge that will hopefully open doors into a world of reading they didn’t know existed! Many books in our libraries are AR friendly (you can check via arbookfind.com) and you can also use books from your own personal collections, or even the school library your kiddo uses!

When they read and log twelve (12) books (1 [one] per month) and return their log to either branch, they’ll automatically be entered into a drawing at the beginning of the following year to win a super fun prize. Challenges will be collected, and a winner from each location chosen the first week of 2024!
